CMC-090/3-HX Soft Starter

The CMC-HX Soft Starter is a new type of intelligent starting and protection device for asynchronous motors. It is an integrated motor terminal control device that combines starting, display, protection, and data acquisition. Users can achieve complex control functions with fewer components. The bilingual interface (Chinese and English) makes operation more convenient. Additionally, the CMC-HX Soft Starter integrates a current transformer internally, eliminating the need for external configuration.

1. SCR Triggering

Closed-loop control algorithm with SCR closed-loop control function, specifically designed for standard and heavy-duty loads. Users can select current-limiting start or voltage ramp start based on the load condition to achieve smooth, torque-oscillation-free starting.
2. Load Application

Ten built-in load types are available for user selection, with starting control curves provided for each type to match the soft starter with the load, ensuring excellent starting and stopping performance.

3. Multiple Starting and Stopping Methods

Voltage exponential curve, voltage linear curve, current exponential curve, and current linear curve, with programmable kick-start torque and starting current limits applicable for each method. Depending on the load, the corresponding starting curve can be selected to achieve optimal starting performance. Multiple stopping methods include programmable soft stop, free stop, braking stop, and pump stop. The base algorithm ensures more accurate and smooth motor starting and stopping.
4. Communication Function

Standard Modbus RTU communication. Optional Ethernet/GPRS communication module facilitates network connection and control, enhancing system automation and reliability.

5. Analog Signal Control

Users can input 4–20mA or 0–20mA standard signals and set upper and lower limits for analog values to control motor start/stop and alarms. The soft starter can also transmit data (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.). It features 4–20mA or 0–20mA standard analog signal output functionality.
6. Fully Flame-Retardant Material

Units below 90KW feature an all-plastic enclosure made of flame-retardant ABS material. For 90KW and above, the upper cover is plastic, and the main frame is made of aluminum-zinc-coated steel plate, offering heat and corrosion resistance.

7. External Panel Option

The panel can be externally extended to the equipment operation surface via the body interface for remote operation, facilitating on-site use.

8. Strong Anti-Interference Capability

All external control signals are optically isolated, with different noise immunity levels set to suit industrial environments.

9. Dual Parameter Function

Features two sets of basic parameters, allowing control of two motors with different power ratings.
10. Power Frequency

Adaptive power frequency 50/60Hz function for user convenience.
11. Dynamic Fault Memory

Can record up to 10 faults, making it easier to identify the cause of issues.

12. Comprehensive Protection Functions

Monitors current and load parameters throughout operation, with microcomputer-based protection functions including overcurrent, overload, underload, overheating, phase loss, short circuit, three-phase current imbalance, phase sequence detection, and frequency error.

13. User-Friendly Human-Machine Interface

Equipped with an LCD display panel supporting both Chinese and English interfaces, making programming and parameter adjustment more convenient.
